My priorities as the Carver County Sheriff are guided by accountability, partnership, and responsible stewardship of public resources.

The Sheriff's Office works best when it is a true partner with local communities As Carver County Sheriff, I will be accessible, engaged, and accountable to city leaders, county officials, and the communities we serve. Strong partnerships are built through open communication, mutual respect, and a willingness to address challenges directly.

I believe difficult conversations are the responsibility of the Sheriff—not something to be delegated. Leadership means showing up, listening to concerns, collaborating on solutions, and following through on commitments. By fostering transparency, accountability, and consistent communication, I will strengthen relationships between the Carver County Sheriff's Office and our municipal partners, ensuring we work together to provide the highest level of public safety for every community.  Every community in Carver County deserves a Sheriff who listens, responds, and follows through. 

As Carver County Sheriff, I will work closely with county leaders, city officials, and community partners to ensure the Sheriff's Office delivers the right level of service to every community. Carver County's cities and townships have unique public safety needs, and I believe one size does not fit all.

I will use a data-driven approach to develop flexible policing strategies, allocate resources responsibly, and build budgets that support growth, modernization, and long-term fiscal responsibility. I will also invest in modern technology and transparent reporting systems that allow residents and local officials to clearly measure service levels, operational performance, response times, and outcomes.

My commitment is to provide strong leadership, accountable government, and a Sheriff's Office that works collaboratively with every community to keep Carver County safe today and prepared for the future.

I will conduct a comprehensive review of the Carver County Sheriff's Office services, staffing models, and budget to ensure resources are being used efficiently, effectively, and responsibly. My leadership experience managing divisional and unit budgets in Minnesota's largest sheriff's office has demonstrated that meaningful improvements can often be achieved through budget-neutral strategies rather than increasing costs to taxpayers.

I will work closely with county officials and contracted city leaders to strengthen the budgeting process, align public safety resources with each community's needs, and address long-standing operational concerns. My commitment is to provide transparent financial stewardship, improve efficiency, and ensure every taxpayer dollar invested in the Carver County Sheriff's Office delivers measurable value, strong public safety services, and accountability.
